The island came to life for me after receiving a Christmas present to receive 6 books sent to me during the next year. My son is very inventive when it comes to thoughtful gifts that I would never believe was on the internet.
I was concerned about receiving a gift without picking it out for myself. But the “Just the right book” Club came very close to my desired reading. Thank you for your very entertainingly book. I look forward to reading the next Solace Island book.
Dear Meg, it was such a pleasure meeting and getting to know you at Barbara Vey’s weekend and one I shall never forget.
I have just finished listening to you narrating Singing Songs and Gemma. Oh my goodness, but words fail me. They are magnificent, so lyrically (very harrowing in parts) and empathetically written. I’ll admit to shedding a few tears. You have such a talent for story telling and narrating and because the stories are so close to your heart, meant all the more. I’m about to begin the ARC of Cliff’s Edge and will review it for sure on the blog I share with my friend. Do you have any plans to narrate/perform any more of your books because you’re up there with my favourite performers now – and I’m REALLY picky about narrators.
If you come to the UK for anything other than personal reasons will you let me know because I’d love to see you again?
